本文简述了上海天文台氢原子钟的研制及使用情况,通过对两台长期运转的观察和研究,着重分析了影响氧原子稳定度的各种因素。在分析的基础上,我们对自制氢钟不断采取了一些改进措施,并获得了预期的效果。使自制氢钟的性能在使用中不断提高.最后,绘出了历年来氢钟的测量结果.
Abstract:This Paper describes the circumstances of the uses and developments of the Hydrogen Maser in Shanghai Observatory.The Hydrogen Maser has been developing in S.O.since 1970.The atomic time scale for singe station consisting of three Hydrogen Maser has been establis hed since 1978.Afterwards we have carried out successfully the following experiments by the Hydrogen Maser:the transatlantic clock time co- mparison by means of the symphony satellite between the S.O.in China and France;the physical transport of operating clock between S. O.and USNO;the VLBI experiment between S.O.and Max-planck in Fed.Rep.Germeny. This paper especially analyzes variable reasons affecting the stab- ility by observing and experiment for several years.we have adopted a lot of methods to improve continuosly the stability of the Hydrogen Maser in the course of use,including shortening beam optical system, strengthening mechanical stability and imrpoving thermal sta bility of the carity-bulb,increasing cavity O,and placing stop bead at the exit of the hexapole magnet. The results obtained have been proved to be satisfactory.prelimina- ry measured stability of the Hydrogen Maser has been considerably improved.Recently measured stability is as following:2.3×10-13/sec, 3.9×10-14/10sec,3.6×10-14/100sec,1.2×10-14/1000sec,5×10-14/day,It is the best result since Hydrogen Maser was developed in Shanghai Observatory.
